Secondary transition incl 11+

Newton Longville Church of England Primary School is a Buckinghamshire school and so all children sit the Secondary Transfer test (11+) at the beginning of Year 6. If parents do not deem Grammar School to be a suitable environment for their child's secondary education they may choose to withdraw their child from this process. We have a wide range of Secondary Schools that we work closely with to transition our children to at the end of their primary education, including Grammar Schools, Upper schools in Buckinghamshire and Secondary Schools in Milton Keynes.  

 

Parents receive information on moving up to secondary school during year five, including information on Open Days, and we support children throughout this process so that they are ready for this next step in their school life.
