Geography Intent

At Newton Longville CE Primary School our children are taught to develop their understanding of the world around them and for some,created by God. We provide the skills and vocabulary so that when they leave they are prepared for Geography as a subject at secondary school using maps, globes, atlases and other resources.   They have knowledge of diverse places, people and the different human and physical features around the world. 

We want our children to have a natural curiosity about the world that they live in and want to protect it for future generations.
